beside the shifter, there is a little tab that can be accessed to shift it out of park if the solenoid goes out, just stick a screwdriver down there and you can shift it temporarily. just take out the center console and zip tie it while you have it engaged and it will work from now on.

It depends on your sex, weight, and TIME! The interlock works off BAC, if u have an interlock you know what this is, if not its blood alcohol content. Most interlocks can read a BAC level of .02 or less! Through personal experience I have found that 1 beer per hour is safe!

when working you must have knocked wire loose for battery termial. i changed the battery ends on my zx2 and missed one wire and spedometer stopped working. found the wire hooked it back up and has never failed since. i hope this helps you with your problem.

It is located under the shift boot just pull up on the boot. On the 02- early 03s there was a recall if you see a handle call your dealer to see if the recall was performed otherwise to the right of the shifter there is a "button" with a spring. The manual in your glove box also should show this.
