its right next to the valve cover on the driver side behind the coolant sensor
how to check fuse for horn in a 1998 Pontiac sunfire
My wife has a '98 Sunfire and to the best of my knowledge, there isn't a P.C.V valve. (I haven't been able to find it!!) There is no pcv valve on the sunfires year 98 and newer.
on the firewall side of the engine...passenger side
It has a capacity of 4 quarts.
the 2.2 engine of 1998 and up don't have PVCAnswerI recently replaced a valve cover gasket on a 98 sunfire, and was looking for the pcv valve. I could not find, even looking in a chilton manual. Eventually I called GM, and that is when I found out they are built in to the valve cover there is nothing to replace. The Elbow that comes out of the top of the valve cover hooks right into the air box. That is what I originally thought was the PVC.
It depends on what engine you have. On some you have to remove the housing on the top of the engine which contains the coils etc.
On the oil pan near the top. Under the engine. About middle of the car.
it probably needs an O2 sensor they range from about 40-90 dollars
Behind the vibration dampner pully Wrong On a Pontiac sunfire 1998 with the 2.4L it's on the front of the engine tucked aboue the oil filter the bolt is a 5/32 size and it's hard to see
on a 1998 Pontiac gan am ,they do not have a pcv valve.
it can be either your maf sensor or your fuel pump
