OBD2
A dead OBD2 connector in a 2003 Saturn Ion can be caused by several issues, including blown fuses, wiring problems, or a malfunctioning Engine Control Unit (ECU). Corrosion or damage to the connector itself can also prevent proper communication with diagnostic tools. Checking the fuse related to the OBD2 system and inspecting the wiring for any visible damage or disconnections can help identify the problem. If these steps do not resolve the issue, professional diagnostics may be required to pinpoint the fault.
