There'll be one at each drive tire.
The rear abs sensor is on the top centre of the differential. There is a small bolt that holds it in.
It's the ABS sensor and should not be removed/bypassed.
anti lock brake system light might mean a bad brake sensor must be replaced
brake and abs light on , on 1994 Chevy Cavalier Z24
Need to know what year
Bring to a shop that has an ABS scanner to determine problem
In the back end of the transmission.
The ABS sensor on ALL year Chevy Venture vans is located in the hub on the Left and right front tires. If the sensor is failing you unfortunately have to replace the entire hub. The barrings and the sensor are all sealed inside the hub. The ABS electrical connector is just behind the hub under the CV axle.
could be a broken wire or a bad sensor easily be fixed at a shop you can look at the wires going to the front wheels the only ones there will be for the abs and 90 % of the time that's where the trouble is
The rear ABS sensor should be in the gear box (i can't remember the exact term) in your rear end. The front ABS sensors are in your wheel hubs...
If you are talking about a wheel speed sensor then the abs light will be on.
Yes it does, I have one!
