this is NOT the mass air flow sensor but this is a 20 second fix, it is located on the tube between the air filter box and engine on the firewall side of the tube
In the exhaust pipe, right next to the engine.
no MAP sensor, just mass air flow sensor
Very simple. Unplug the wire to the sensor, unscrew/remove the sensor, install new sensor and plug it in. You're done. Have fun.
its in the air hose between the air filter and air box.
i have a 1997 chevrolet Malibu with a po113 code. the car has been sitting up for about a one year can it just need to run for a couple of miles or what do i need to do?
in the over flow tank
It is in the bottom of the over flow tank.
You can find a water flow cooling diagram for a 2002 Chevy Malibu in the car's owner's manual. You can also check with local auto part stores.
This vehicle does not have a carb. The fault is likely with the mass air flow sensor or something of the like.
Should be on the air intake just after the mass air flow sensor. From the Air filter, you have a cover with a big fat rubber hose, then the big metal square Mass air flow sensor, more hose and on the side is the intake air temp sensor then the throttle body assembly
The 94 model does not have a MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR.
It doesn't have a maf sensor.
