That depends on experience level and what you want to see... for easy reef diving in near-perfect conditions, Curacao is highly recommended. Was there for a week and did all dives less than 60 feet. Tons of dives to do from the shore... we were able to dive from the beach of our hotel and it was gorgeous!

The "big 3" of Caribbean reef diving are Bonaire (which is close to Curacao in both senses), Cayman and Cozumel. Some argue that their reputation is a little overblown, but no doubt that each has excellent reef diving. Saba and Roatan each also has a strong diving reputation.

For wreck diving, the most famous Caribbean wreck dive is the Bianca C in Grenada, but it is a quite advanced dive. The British and U.S. Virgin Islands each have a number of excellent divable shipwrecks, as does St Kitts.

For cave diving: Dominican Republic, hands down.
