The C button is not on the actual remote, but on the nunchuck that attaches to it. The C button is on the top rear of the nunchuck, right above the Z trigger, behind the directional joystick.
It's on the nunchuk (the controller with an analog stick on the front) on the top.
There is not a z button on the wii remote but there is one on the external controller nunchuk right at the front of it next to the C button
