Back of the motor near the fire wall. Follow one of the wire sets from the distributer to the sensor.
It should be part of the distributor.

The camshaft position sensor is a part of the distributer. There are 2 electrical plugs going to it, 1 is for the coil,the other is for the Camshaft sensor.
The crankshaft sensor is located in the engine on a Chevy 1500 truck. This is under the hood.

The 1992 Chevy 5.7 liter engine IAT sensor can be found on the back of the engine. The IAT sensor will be near the top of the transmission.
The 1997 Chevy 1500 pickup truck 5.7 liter engine knock sensor can be found on the front of the engine. You will need to remove the front engine cover in order to access the sensor.
Up in the front of the engine where the timing cover is on the right side of it this will be the cam sensor it does not have a crank sensor.
if you are facing the engine, its on the bottom left side of the the engine. Close to radiator.
