In the relay block with the other relays.
on a 1989 Toyota truck it should be behind the kick panel, under the ECU
The 1984 Toyota pickup truck headlight relay switch can be found in the fuse box. The headlight relay switch will be at the top of the third column.
There are actually 2 relays in the fuel pump circuit. The EFI and the Open circuit relay. The EFI relay in on the right side in the engine compartment. Just behind the battery in the fuse box. It is usually marked on the top. The Open circuit relay is behind the glove box. You need to remove the glove box and then look in and to the right against the side wall. It is a tight fit and sometimes missed but it is there. Jonathn1 If this helped remember the test points. THanks
left kick panel by clutch right behind the turn signal relay
Short in the wiring or the circuit is overloaded.
Behind the glovebox and the passenger side speaker.
If you don't have power to your fuel pump you have either blown the fuse ( or a fusible link), the fuel pump relay has failed or you have a shorted wire somewhere in the circuit.
The ignition switch is wired incorrectly, is damaged,or a wire is damaged and contacting the starter relay circuit .
There is one flasher relay on the truck which controls both the turn signals and the hazard lights. It is located on the drivers side, under the dash, mounted behind the instrument cluster.
I have a 1992 Toyota pickup, Had a HARD time finding the horn relay myself. The horn relay on my 1992 Pickup is located on the drivers side, to the right (or towards the front of the truck) of the small fuse block that has an access panel door on the kick panel, you have to remove the kick panel to see the relay, in my case it was just unplugged, plugged it back in and horn now works. The relay has printing on it and it says "HORN RELAY" Good luck! Laterz, Len P :) I would like to find the Fuel Pump relay on my 1992 Toyota pickup.
One of the best Toyota used truck is the Toyota Hilux. In other countries, the Toyota Hilux is marketed as the Toyota Tacoma.
