Distributor is in the very back center. It is pretty difficult to work on and takes patience but possible. The screws are Allen screws and I had a difficult time getting the back one out. I had to use liquid wrench to get it out.
The spark plugs are difficult because it is so tight. You can get the rear plugs on each side by going in through the wheel wells. You will need a long extension. The one in the center on the drivers side is still in and I haven't got any idea how I will ever change that one out. It has a steering rod right next to the plug.
just so you know,,to get the number three plug out that you are having a problem with, if you disconnect the steering shaft it makes it so easy, there is a plastic cover on the bottom that just snaps off and using a 11 mm socket with extensions there is one bolt to remove then using a pry bar,pry shaft up.
Not if it's a diesel. Diesels don't have spark plugs remember..
