In a 2004 Chevy Malibu, the fuse for the dome light is located in the fuse box, which is typically found under the dashboard on the driver's side. You can identify the specific fuse by consulting the fuse diagram on the inside cover of the fuse box or in the owner's manual. The dome light fuse is usually labeled and may be a 10 or 15 amp fuse, depending on the vehicle's configuration. If the dome light is not functioning, checking this fuse is a good first step.
