Genesis 4:26
Another Answer:
In its broadest sense, 'prayer' is simply communications with God - either way. One can imagine Adam conversing immediately after his creation and awareness. But Scripturally, it is written here:
Genesis 2:15-16New International Version (NIV)15 The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it. 16 And the Lord God commanded the man, "You are free to eat from any tree in the garden;
Possibly it is when Abraham prayed for an heir Gen 15:2-3.
Genesis 15:2 But Abram said, "Lord GOD, what will You give me, seeing I go childless, and the heir of my house is Eliezer of Damascus?"
Prayer is simply talking to/with God. It is inferred that Adam and then Eve had a continual and relaxed or uninhibited times of prayer. It wasn't until the Fall in Genesis 3:8-9(a) that this 'shameless and friendly' talking ended and the banning from the Garden of Paradise and the need to be humbly request many things began.
The first mention of prayer is in Genesis 4:26. It says that men began to call on the name of the Lord. When we call on the name of the Lord it is prayer.
In Genesis 4:28
".......then men began to call on the name of the Lord"
My trusty copy of Strong's tells me that:
'Pray' appears first (in the KJV) in Gen 12:13.
'Prayer' is first seen in 2Sa 7:27.
Prayer is talking to God. The first man Adam was the first to talk to God.

Eve from the bible was the first person to die
The youngest perrson to die is unknown sry!
King James was not the first person to write the Bible.
Jews do not worship with a bible, they pray with a siddur(prayer book). The siddur contains all Jewish prayers.
The word "pray" appears in 121 verses of the NIV bible.
What do you mean by the youngest person in the Bible? If you are talking about the first human the Bible talks about, than it is Adam, the first man. The Bible reference should be at the back.
The bible is like a reference guide for believers, it helps encourage people to pray for unselfish reasons.
That they are in a congregation of the church to pray.
