there is none. just push the fuel door from the left side and it will open from the right.
Isn't it the same as the 2008? Simply push the door in to release it and again to close it....
What year is your car? I have a 2001 Galant GTZ and my gas door is one that you have to push. Mine you push the right side of the fuel door.

The fuel pump relay switch on a 2006 Mitsubishi Galant is in the dash on the driver's side. Open the driver's door and remove the access panel to the fuse box just above the hood release on the outside of the dash. The fuel pump relay should be the switch on the far right at the bottom of this fuse box.
