Assuming this is a V-8 engine, the fuel pump is bolted to the passenger front side of the engine. Follow the fuel line from the carb, it will lead right to it.

It has a electric pump inside of the fuel tank.

Blown fuse, defective fuel pump relay, clogged fuel filter, or defective fuel pump.
It should be for the fuel pump.
According to the Impala Forum the fuel filter is part of the fuel pump module, and the unit is housed in the gas tank. Filter is replaced when the pump is replaced. Hope this helps. :)
Chevrolet does not use a "reset" button for the fuel pump on their vehicles. That is a Ford thing.
fuel pump might be going out
The fuel pump on a 94 Chevy Impala SS is changed by lowering the fuel tank, disconnecting the wires, removing the fuel lines, and unbolting the pump. It can then be lifted from the tank and a new pump put into place.
