The R/T-10 was a convertible where the GTS is the first viper coupe.
The Battery in a 1993 dodge viper Rt10 is under the truck. You have to remove the spare tire and then about 18 screws to remove the panel and the battery fits underneath. If you need to jump start the vehicle it has a positive terminal on the right side of the engine in a plastic box that opens and then you would use a ground from the engine .
The Viper 2008 / 2009 got a 0-60 mph time of 3.7 seconds, a 0-100 mph time of 7.6 seconds and a Quarter Mile-time of 11.6 seconds at 126 mph (203 km/h). Dodge's claims for top speed are 197 mph (317 km/h) and 202 mph (325 km/h), for the Roadster and Coupe respectively. courtesy of www.TheViperStore.com
yes 210 degree is normal . The gauge actaully reads 10 degrees higher (+) than the occupant can see visually on the gauge. Team Viper did this as a means to keep Viper owners from burning up the engines and keep the warranty work down. Watter Wetter ( A red line company product) works effective on reducing engine temps if that is your goal. Turn on the A/C and watch the temp drop ! Viper Racer
Depending on where you are located in Connecticut would limit some choices, but I find that longtermcarelink.net is a great place to find a lender. One I stumbled upon would be Kenneth Penfield, CCCE (Toll Free) 1-866-REV-1411 1520 Highland Avenue (Rt10) Cheshire, CT 06410.
