The 1992 Ford Ranger does not have a fuel pump shutoff switch. You can disable the fuel pump by removing the fuel pump fuse.

The fuel pump inertia switch is in the right front passenger area, on the passenger side of the transmission hump, on the toeboard (firewall) under the edge of the carpet.
There is no "reset" switch for the fuel pump on that vehicle.
