When you open the drivers side door you should be able to see it at the front of the open door. its fuse # 27 ANSWER Also , in the power distribution box , in your engine compartment , PD BOX IS LIVE - DISCONNECT YOUR NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE - in location # 10 is a 30 amp maxi-fuse for the power windows/power locks/power seats on a 1997 Explorer.
