In the trunk
In a 2006 Pontiac G6, the cigarette lighter fuse is located in the fuse box under the dashboard on the driver's side. To access it, remove the cover of the fuse box and look for the fuse labeled "CIG" or "Accessory." If you need to replace the fuse, refer to the owner's manual for specific amperage details. Always ensure the vehicle is off before checking or replacing fuses.
in the trunk of the car on the left hand side there is a compartment open and there is another fuse box. look on the cover and it gives you the number.
This is in the rear compartment fuse block, located in the trunk of the vehicle. Access the fuse block through the trunk panel on the driver's side of the rear cargo area. It will be fuse number 20 that needs to be replaced for the cig lighter.
Either from the dealer or a parts yard
In my 2005 G6 there is another fuse box in the trunk. Pull the carpet away from the drivers side wheel well and you'll find it. The fuse for the cigarette lighter is in there. I had trouble finding it too! Found it by accident while vacuuming the trunk!
