Diesel engines are EXTREMELY durable. With proper maintenance, I would fully expect to get 400,000 miles from a power stroke ford. Possibly more depending on how it is driven. Hope this helps. Mike

There is no such thing as a 2001 f250 351 Windsor. I believe the last year of the 351 overhead valve motor was 1996.
I am assuming you're asking about a diesel engine. On my 97 Power Stroke it is located on the drivers side of the engine, just above the oil filter.

I have a 2000 F250 crew cab and the fuel tank is 29 gal ..the 99 and 00 were basically the same truck so yours is probably about the same.
All I can say is it's not the same as a 2001 I dont have a #6 relay only goes to #5.
there in not really a tune up to be done just normal maintenance. filters ect. oil is really important because if your have the power stroke it can effect fuel injection.

How long since last tune-up and compression check? Fouled plugs or dirty valve seats (even a burnt vavle) will cause misfire and lack of acceleration (power).
