There's a circular room somewhere in the temple, with a whole bunch of lasers... after activating them and hitting them with arrows, you can pull them out to enter the small rooms behind them. One of these rooms will lead to the third Elder.
It's in the grandpa goron house.
When you go to leave the area, the Kakariko Elder will stop you, and tell you that the Elder of your own village, Ordon, is the only man who has ever been able to best the Gordon's in strength. He suggests that you go back to Ordon and talk to him.
The Goron elder that is sitting in front of the boy's shop in Kakariko Village, he tells you he can help you with that. And the rest you will understand.
