Odd phrasing to the question. The Kelvin is the absolute scale of temperature. One Kelvin is the equivalent of one degree centigrade. There are no "degrees Kelvin", though. You just say "Kelvin".

Absolute zero - the coldest temperature possible where everything freezes- is 0 Kelvin. This is the equivalent of -273 degrees centigrade. You just add 273 to the temperature in degrees centigrade to get the temperature in Kelvin - just remember not to mention degrees...

What are the scales scientists used to measure temperature?

the two main scales used by scientists are Celsius and Kelvin (Kelvin being the most used because the range has a bottom out point at 0 degrees kelvin so there are no negatives). although a true 0 degree kelvin cannot be created kelvin is the most widely used. [technically, degrees Kelvin is grammatically wrong. Just Kelvin is correct. ]
