Where is the location of 1999 Saturn coolant temperature sensor?
on the right side of the engine
Faulty coolant temp sensor can cause the vehicle to run poorly, if run at all. If you are leaning toward replacing the sensor you will be happy to know the sensor is relatively cheap, around $12, and simple to replace. Please visit my Bio for a link to my saturn help site for image of where the coolant temperature sensor is located.
Does a cylinder head temperature sensor in a ford focus control the fan or does the coolant temperature sensor control it?
Why does your '98 Saturn PCM not receive data from a new ECTS low coolant light flashing still with good coolant and sensor no apparant wire problems?
The engine coolant temperature sensor has nothing to do with the low coolant light. The low coolant sensor is mounted in the bottom of the overflow/filling reservoir by your washer fluid bottle. You will need to verify that the coolant overflow/fill bottle has coolant in it and if it does then the sensor is bad and will have to be replaced.
