The manual transmission gear oil level on an '85Toyota van is checked by removing the fill plug located on the drivers side of the transmission (under the vehicle) and put a finger in the hole up to the first joint. Tip[ the finger down as far as you can without inserting it farther into the fill hole. If the level is to low to get a drop on the end of your finger it needs to be topped up by adding gear oil through the same hole until it just begins to flow out of the fill hole.
If the vehicle has an automatic transmission, it will have a dipstick. Manual transmissions do not have a dipstick.
there isn't one period
No dipstick, just filler level plugs on the transmission and the transfer boxes.
Where do I put the transmission fluid in a 1996 Toyota t100
A manual transmission doesn't have a dipstick
If it has an automatic transmission, it should have a dipstick on the passenger side, under the hood, near the firewall. If it has a manual transmission, no dipstick.
Manual has no dipstick. Auto is near the firewall.
There isn't one. There is a plug on the side of the transmission that you fill the trans. to. When you reach that level (and, of course, it starts spilling), you're full.
there isn't one
there is not a dipstick on a manual transmission
If it is a Manual transmission you do not have a dipsticks.
you more than likely will not have a dipstick on any manual transmission. most of them do not need fluid that needs regular service.
