On a 1997 Suzuki Esteem, the map (Manifold Absolute Pressure) sensor is typically located on the intake manifold. It is usually mounted near the throttle body or on the passenger side of the engine compartment. To access it, you may need to remove some engine covers or components for better visibility. Always refer to the vehicle's service manual for precise location and instructions.

On a 1997 Suzuki Esteem, the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor is typically located on or near the intake manifold. It is usually mounted on the engine's throttle body or the intake manifold itself, often on the driver's side. Where is the map sensor on a 1997 Chevy 1500?
Hello Dear, The MAP Sensor in a Baleno 2000 is attached with Throttle body and can be seen clearly. It reads Sensor Pressure and in most Balenos the make is of USA.
The Mass Air Flow sensor is located on the intake of Mercedes 420e.
It is on the front of the throttle body.
the map sensor should be visable on the top of the engine, right behind the intake manifold.
this map/boost sensor is located next the the evap canister in the engine bay
in line with the air filter
To the best of my knowledge, the 97 does not have a MAP sensor. It uses a Mass Airflow sensor instead, and that is located in the intake boot either next to the air filter housing, or in the housing itself.
