Where is the neutral safety switch for a 1990 ford probe I CANT SEEM TO FIND IT ALSO IS THIS THE PROBLEM SOMETIMES IT STARTS AND SOMETIMES IT DON'T IN ANY GEAR?

if the car is an automatic,it's on top of the transmission where the shift linkage connects to the transmission.look to the left and in front of the air cleaner box

neutral safety switch is out of adjustment. it is located on the side of the transmission and joins with the linkage rods. could be that it is just loose. i had the same problem and that is what it was. good luck.
