Direct bolt in NO. If you know what you are doing you can put it in anything, But the problem is that you would NEED the computer system and the intire transmission and engine wireing harness. You would also need the transmission for the 6.0L engine and the fuel pump and all the oxygen sensors plus the speed sensors.

The sensors that usually go bad in a Dodge truck are the throttle position sensor, the oxygen sensor, engine light sensor and crank sensor. These malfunctions can be fixed on any Dodge dealership.
If you do that then the check engine light will come on and you will have engine running problems. The truck has to have the converters on it so the oxygen sensors can be read by the PCM / computer module. It will start using alot of fuel and not run right and create other problems.
There are approximately 4 oxygen sensors on a Chevrolet V6 truck. The oxygen sensors can be purchased at any auto parts store such as NAPA.
There are three O2 sensors. The first two are at the end of the hedders. The thrid one is attached to the pipe underneath the truck just after the two pipes come into one.
