It depends on which one the car had when it was produced. There are both kinds of paint used.
There are many shades of black with different paint codes. In order to figure out the paint code on the Camry the best thing would be to call a Toyota dealership and talk to someone in the parts department. The parts associate will be able to use your vehicle identification number to tell you the code.
In the trunk, there should be a big peice of cardboard resting above the spare tire. The paint code should be written somewhere on the cardboard. Hope this helps!
The color code for a specific Camry can be found inside the driver's side door jamb, as described here: http://www.automotivetouchup.com/paint-codes/toyota.htm The color codes of all Camrys made in 1995 can be found here: http://www.automotivetouchup.com/choosecolor/choosecolor.aspx?year=1995&make=Toyota&model=Camry
The color code can be located in the driver side door jamb. The code will have a C/TR in front of it. A typical code will look like C/TR: 1D4/FH13, and 1D4 would be the color code in this example.
Phantom GrayColor Code 1E3
Don't do it. I just got a quote from my local junkyard on a hood for a 91 Camry and they said it was $100. of course that's without paint, but you could find the same color car to begin with, since the Camry is so common. The bumper is probably another $100. The paint costs them $200-300, probably less. So total cost is $500 (without labor, just for parts, if you did it yourself) they are profiting over $2500 for something that can be done in a day or two. I have a dented hood in a 99 Camry right now actually and I'm about to fix it myself. Sources: boycotting the mechanic and doing everything myself for years.
The average cost to paint a 2000 Toyota Corolla will depend on the shop you go to. Most places charge around $1,600, average.
The paint colour that has the code K9 FD96 is not stated, but it is stated that the colour is for Toyota vehicles. It is best to contact a Toyota dealer for further information.
The paint code is located on the option label in the trunk. -------------------------
