Some old advice is still very appropriate, especially in the age of such complex machinery. "If you don't know what it is, don't mess with it." That certainly holds true for automobile air conditioning systems.
BUT...
The AC refrigerant portS are on the AC hoses; one is near the compressor, the other is behind the engine. If you're planning to add refrigerant, you should use gauges that test both the high side AND the low side.

In a 2003 Saturn L200, the Freon (refrigerant) is taken in through the AC system's low-pressure service port. This port is typically located on the larger diameter aluminum line running from the evaporator to the compressor, usually found near the driver’s side of the engine bay. To check or add Freon, you'll need to connect a refrigerant gauge to this port. Always ensure the car is off and properly ventilated when servicing the AC system.
The Freon recharge port for a 95 Toyota Camry is located near the air conditioning compressor. It is near the fire wall, and has a black cap with an L marked on it.
Technically, Freon is the name of the formerly legal fluorocarbon that was used in everything from refrigerators, to automobile air conditioners and fire suppression systems. When the patent expired, the product was determined to be a hazard to the environment. All Saturn's use the newer "134A" refrigerant.
The only refrigerant you can legally use in your 2001 Saturn would be the 134-A
