hi there, your fuse you are looking for is located behind the glove box on the passenger side of the van. once you've taken out the glove box, you will see the fuse board. pull the cover off then you will see X2 clips on the fuse board, pull them down and there is ANOTHER fuse board behind the first fuse board. im not sure what fuse it is but i know it's a 7.5 AMP so you will have to check them all. many thanks and good luck. The 1999 Mercury Sable license plate light and the right side brake light are on the same fuse. If the fuse was bad neither brake light would work. The problem probably is burnt out lightbulbs.
The side of the light fuse can be found in the fuse box. You can remove the fuse with a fuse puller or a sense of needle nose pliers. A fuse puller can be found in the fuse box.
Passenger side kick panel fuse #13, 10 amp, same fuse for trunk light, license plate light, interior light(s)
how do you open a fuse box on a transit van 110 t280 passenger side
The owners manual indicates fuse # 12 in the Fascia fuses is for the number plate and a number of other things including Hazard lights.
The fuse box containing the interior light fuse for a 2001 300m is under the dash. It is on the drivers side, at the kick plate.
The license plate light gets its power through the HVAC fuse. That fuse is in the interior fuse box on the driver side of the dash. It is a 10 Amp fuse in the second colum of fuses and is the fuse next to the bottom. Hope that helps.
Behind the left side cover on the inside of the plate.
The license plate lights are not in a separate fuce by it seft. They are the same as your side marker lights. So, check if your side marker lights are working and if they are them is a bad license plate light bulb.
Just by the bonnet release on the drivers side
`the cigarette lighter fuse is located in the fuse box under the bonnet on the passenger side
Could be the bulbs are bad.
