Walk around behind the vehicle. Get on your knees and bend over and look underneath. They are usually mounted underneath where you would think the gastank would usually be. You will either see the tire or a cover covering up the tire but it's there trust me :o) Now for the fun part: to get the tire out? Locate your tire hardware such as jack etc. Yake the rod that you use to raise and lower the jack and find the small hole in the rear fender area just about the center. Extend that rod and stick it in that hole and try and find the crankdown hole adapter that lowers the spare tire. If you look in the hole you will see it. But sometimes it's not real easy to hit it the first time. So try try again. :o) When you get it right and turn the crank conuter-clockwise the tire should start lowering down. It's a piece of cake from there. The rest is cut and dry pretty much. To reinstall the old tire and reinstall the spare back in place just reverse the proceedure. *I've got a much better answer: Sign up for GM roadside service, and have them come and do it for you. They have UNLIMITED service (AAA and most others only give you aid FOUR times a year. After that, you pay for it, yourself. And, they charge you by the mile after a five mile radius. GM tows you to the nearest garage regardless of distance. 49.00 the first year). Well, if you can't call them, then you have two other choices: the above answer, or flag down a beautiful blonde in a convertible who works out to do it for you. (grin)
