follow the top radiator hose to where it connects to the engine the top radiator hose connects to the thermostat housing , the thermostat is inside the thermostat housing
Follow the upper radiator hose from the radiator to the engine. The thermostat is located within the housing where the radiator hose connects tot he engine. Drain radiator, remove hose from thermostat housing, remove the bolts that fasten the housing to the engine and pull off housing, pull out thermostat noticing the direction it is pointing. Installation is reverse of removal (making sure thermostat is facing in the right direction). Refill radiator with 50/50 water/antifreeze solution.
It is located on the front passenger side of the motor. It is part of the water neck assembly. You have to replace the entire unit neck and all. They run about 50 dollars. Actually the thermostat on the 2000 Intrigue is located on the drivers side of the motor.

It is located on the elec. fan itself where the connector plugs in. There was a recall on these switches and were replaced with a new one from Ford for free.

Slightly messy this way... Make sure truck is cold. Unbolt thermostat housing located on the top front of the motor, with the upper radiator hose attached to it. remove housing, remove thermostat. Clean gasket surfaces on intake manifold & thermostat housing. Spread gasket silicone on intake thermostat flange. Install new thermostat, install new gasket on top. Spread gasket silicone on underside of thermostat housing. Bolt housing on intake. Remove radiator cap & top off with 50/50 coolant/water.
It would simply be a paint/ mustang cross. There's no special name for it that I know of. Well I am answering this about howrse.com the answer depends on the genetics of your mare. If you mare is 50 percent paint and 50 percent mustang or something else, who knows what the foal could be. If your mare is more something else or has an amount of mustang in her, the chances are you will get a mustang.
