no such thing as a trans switch
The speed sensor on a 1999 Taurus is on top of the transmission. It is located directly under the number 2 cylinder.
it is mounted on top of your transmission to the shift shaft have someone move the shifter in the car and look for a cable moving back and forth. under this cable you will see switch
on the side of the transmission
yes it will fit...thay are all the axod trannys and any Taurus transmission will fit in any Taurus there is.
my relay switch is broken and has gotten my transmission in over drive-did you find the switch?
Assuming this car has an automatic transmission, the neutral safety switch is located on the transmission where the shift linkage attaches.
On a 1999 Saturn vehicle, the backup light switch is located on top of the shift housing, which is situated on the top of the transmission. This switch requires a 7/8' wrench for removal.
yes it will no complications.
It could be that the transmission cooler in the radiator is plugged.
There were very little changes made between the 1996 and 1999 model years. This makes the parts very interchangeable - including the transmission.
If you look at the driver's side of the transmission where the linkage hooks to the transmission you will see a switch there. that is it and it is called a neutral safety switch. It is all built in 1 thing now.
Where it is exactly I do not know suffice it to say that it is somewhere on the transmission.
