Chemicals, pesticides and any other toxic substances should be stored in a cool, dry safe place out of the reach of children and pets. [unless label states other instructions to do with ONLY storage] still keep them out of the reach of children and pets. In a food service facility, they should be stored separately from food and preferably in a locked area.

How many insecticides? what kind of insecticides? With pesticides, you should always read the label with regard to usage, storing, and the warnings.

Obviously you should keep it away from the reach of children and others who may not realize what it is. You should also keep it out of the kitchen and bathrooms where it may be misidentified as a food product or subject to moisture, unless it is kept in a locked area. Dry insecticides can give of harmful fumes. Liquid and spray insecticides can also leak or spill.

A single spray can of household bug killer is usually kept in the kitchen where it is most needed, but out of the way and out of reach. If you have a large quantity for commercial or gardening use it should be kept in a garage area or shed.
