Coastal gas station on Harris Street in Charlottesville sells non-ethanol gas. I got this info and the station address on-line yesterday (19 Oct 2010) and verified by going there and filling up. This is the only place I've found in the Charlottesville general area since Sam's discontinued non-ethanol about six months ago. On the twenty mile trip home, I noticed a difference in idling at stop liights (smoother), and look forward to comparing miles-per-gallon on my next fill-up. THANK YOU Coastal.
Katie's Kountry Korner in Perry, Florida sells PURE which is 100% non ethanol. I get better gas mileage which is key when you live so far from town. I love this store not only for their fuel, but they have groceries, Boar's Head deli and a meat market. This is the perfect stop because they have it all!
I think you can get some in Europe
Most gasolines contain at least 10% ethanol (called E10). Some countries and states require fuel manufactures to add ethanol to gasoline, so many companies supply only E10 for lower octane fuels. Unless required by law, most high octane is non ethanol.
Cars for the past 25 years have bee designed around E10 gasoline. Using non ethanol fuel will not significantly increase you economy. If your vehicle was produced during the '70's, the ethanol content could be detrimental to rubber components in your fuel system.
No, its bad for your engine Sure you can mix them as long as your vehicle has a flex fuel engine. You can also mix then in a non flex fuel engine as long as you do not mix more than 10% ethanol with plain gasoline.

It depends on the station selling it. In my area, one station does not sell it while another sells it with up to 10% ethanol.

No. Even though a gas station does not sell E85 ethanol, it is still technically an ethanol station. All gasolines, no matter what grade, are 10% ethanol and 90% gasoline and are called E10.
