The easiest way is to put it on top of the instrument cluster using a bean bag mount. This might move around too much for you. Another good way is to use the vacuum plate style of holder mounted on the windshield - I prefer to have the mount situated on the far left side of the windshield with the GPS unit touching the top of the instrument panel to keep it from vibrating. This works very well. A third method is to mount it into the shelf right below the DVD player, above the heater controls (on the 2008 Grand Caravan). I purchased a mount that was supposed to connect to the vanes of an a/c-heater duct vent. However, it did not work well there (flopped around too much) so I wedged that mount into the opening of the shelf mentioned using a small wooden shim - I like this setup the best because it is held firmly and both front passengers can see it easily, plus the kids can also see it from the back seat! (I have a Magellan 4250)
