At 1312 1/2 (2nd floor) Commerce St. (south side). The Adolphus Hotel was, and still is, across the street. Just to the west of the street entrance to the club was a barbeque place. Just to the east of the entrance was a parking garage. After that, to the east, was Abe Weinsteen's Colony Club, a competitor, at 1322 1/2 Commerce. Next to that club's street entrance was a dry cleaners and laundry where Ruby had his clothes done (he really liked the way they did his shirts). As a favor to Ruby they placed picture advertisements for Ruby's club in their front window to try to lure Weinstein's customers away. A little further down was the Baker Hotel.

All the structures on that south portion of Commerce Street were demolished to build the Southwestern Bell office complex, now A T & T Plaza.
