Ramesses II, a legendary Egyptian Pharaoh, was originally buried in the Valley of Kings, but because of extensive looting was moved by Ancient Egyptian priests into the tomb of Queen Inhapy and then, shortly after, to the tomb of the High Priest Pinudjem II. It was in this tomb that he was found in 1881. The tomb was filled with many other bodies, including 8 Pharaohs other than Ramesses.
