In 1938 the Yellow River in China flooded. It killed 2-4 million people. Leaving 80,000 homeless. The overall killing totalled about 3.5 million counting all the deaths from the disesases and pandemics
Some 1,332,000 - 1,374,000 died. The Flood affected most of the area between the Yangtze River and the Huang He River,in China. Local Survivers said that 3,000,000 to 5,000,000 died. Estimates go to 3,000,000 - 7,000,000

The worst flood I believe was the Yellow River Flood in China in 1931. The river floods all the time, killing thousands, but in 1931 the death toll was around 3,000,000.
the water crashed over them all and they all died! xD
Dont know but the amount of peole who died in the yellow river flood 1931 was from 1 million to 4 million.
After the flood, two million were left homeless. The resulting pandemic and lack of basic essentials claimed as many lives as those lost directly by the flood itself. It was one of the worst floods in history, though the later 1931 Yellow River flood may have killed as many as two million.

The Yellow River Flood happened in China and the reasoned why it happened was because it was raining too much and there is flat land so it made it easy for it to flood everywhere in that area.
The 1887 Yellow River floods killed between 900,000 & 2,000,000 people.
