The Jews would normally try to escape the country to France or Britain, if they were lucky but if they got caught they could be killed or put into forced labor, the Nazi's made NO exceptions to the Jews.
Hope I helped.

During the actual Holocaust (1941-1945) Jews in Germany and other areas under German control were not allowed to go anywhere - except to the death camps. Until 1940 German Jews were allowed to emigrate to any country that would accept them.
OK.......here is one who was apart of the Dutch underground. Her and those like her, spurred into action by their Christian convictions, did what they could. Many died in the camps as well, including Ms. Ten Booms family. She barely made it out. I think we often focus on the darkness(what went wrong and the enormity of the darkness), which is right and proper to a point, instead of focusing on the points of light that fought the Nazi's. I believe it would do us well to look at what went right, and learn from it. http://www.soon.org.uk/true_stories/holocaust.htm
There was a Holocaust going on at the time and it specifically targeted Jews. Anne Frank was Jewish. If Jews were found, they were often killed or sent to work camps.
Harriet Tubman was an inspiration to help suppressed people find ways to a better life. Later, during the holocaust people helped hide and smuggle Jews in Germany and the surrounding countries, such as Poland.
yes
Yes.
Well... if you were referring to this during the time of the Holocaust... then they were trying to hide well is what they meant. If not, then that was a bias joke.
One method was to hide them in basements or 'hidden rooms' in their own homes. or even they would make special quilts to show that this was a place where you could hide from the Nazis :)
The only way that Jews could hide for any length of time was with the help of others. They needed helpers to provide them with food and other essentials.

places
When Jews were being deported to death camps during The Holocaust, some of them managed to hide in the sewers, in basements, cellars, old barns, or in the forest for years until the war ended. They hid from Nazis who tried to murder them.
It is incorrect to use the word Holocaust to describe a period of time and also confusing. In the context of World War 2 the word refers to the Nazi genocide of the Jews. The genocide lasted from about June 1941 till May 1945.Obviously, one can ask questions like "Where did Oskar Sternberg hide during the Holocaust" meaning Where did Oskar Sternberg hide while the Holocaust was happening.---The Holocaust in the usual sense of the Nazi genocide of Jews took place from 1941-1945, during World War 2.
During the early 1940's, Nazi Germany was rounding up and killing all the Jews they could find, a process known today as the Holocaust. The Franks were a Jewish family and they did not wish to be killed.
she helped he Jews neighbour escape from NAZI HOLOCAUST. to hide them.
