No. Maple trees, like most deciduous trees, are classified as angiosperms, in that they are flowering plants ( the blossoms are somewhat inconspicuous, but are flowers, nonetheless), and the seeds resulting from the pollination of the blossoms are encased in a fruit, the maple key.

A tree may be Gymnosperm if it bears seeds on the ovuliferous scale and not inside ovary.
