This question is unclear, but let me explain...

1000psi is the stress, which is defined as Force over Area.

Your area here is .43sq. in.

The force on that area is then.

S = F/A

F = S*A = 1000*.43in.sq. = 430lbs. on this area.

In general this is too much load for this area. However, that is all application specific.
