There are only two animals that are not able to move backward. These animals are the kangaroo and the emu.
Sharks cannot swim backwards.....and they need to always keep on moving unless they will drown unlike other fish. As for other creatures....You may want to do some more research!
Sharks, I know, are one of them. This is a fun topic to do some more research on! Good luck.
Kangaroo's and emu's......not sure about any others...
The emu and kangaroo are the land animals that cannot move backwards and in the sea, sharks cannot back up.
Kangaroos can neither step nor jump backwards.
An elephant cannot jump.
Snails. Another animal that cannot jump, believe it or not, is the elephant. This relates to the square-cube law.
Yes, the elephants are the only animals in the world that cannot jump. All animals can jump; fish, bird, insects, even rhino when they run there's a time in which all the legs are on air, and even the crocodile can do jump, but there is no time in an elephant's move in which the 4 legs are on air. And this is the only animal that cannot do so. -Rigo Pear. Dominican.
Australian Emu. This is why the Kangaroo and Emu are on the Australian Coat of Arms, neither can walk backwards, meaning the animals, as well as the country can only go forwards.
There are plenty of animals that can't jump- I think you mean to ask what the only mammal is that can't jump; in that case, it would be the elephant.

Yes.
They can swim backwards in short bursts, if that's what you mean.

I had to jump over the mud puddle. Fences usually are high enough so farm animals cannot jump over them. Most wolves can easily jump over a fence.
