∙ 11y agoA cow. <---Wrong. No animal has multiple stomachs what they have is one stomach with multiple compartments. Cows, sheep, goats, deer, giraffes have 4 parts to their stomach. Which are Rumen, Reticulum, omasum, and abomasum.
What these parts do:Rumen: Saliva, bacteria, and protozoans soften and breakdown carbohydrates and proteins of coarse forage.Reticulum: Fermentation takes place here too. It also traps foreign objects such as screws, and nails.
Omasum: Small food particles go here. Also large quantities of water are absorbed here.
Abomasum: "True stomach". Food is mixed with gastric juices and digestion takes place.

∙ 12y agoall the animals are having one stomach as it is always in our biotic surroundings. but the difference is that they have different chambers which we mistake it for stomachs. some animals like (1)cows and (2)camels have many chambers for the cuds after chewing.
