All the arteries, except the pulmonary artery, carries oxygenated blood from the heart (left ventricle to the aorta, then to the rest of the body), and provides systemic circulation.
The aorta carries oxygenated blood from the left ventrical of the heart to the head first and then to the rest of the body through branches that get much smaller as they near the capilaries to allow gas exchange to occur between the tissues and each individual cell.
the left ventricle takes oxygenated blood to the body
Arteries, these carry oxygenated blood to the body. All arteries carry oxygenated blood apart from umbilical arteries. The first main artery from the heart is the Aorta.
The pulmonary veins.
The aorta is the vessel that carries oxygenated blood from the heart. In contrast, the pulmonary artery is the vessel that carries deoxygenated blood from the heart.
It is a blood vessel that carries oxygenated blood from lungs to heart
The 3 kinds of blood vessels are: artery- its the blood vessel that carries the blood from heart to different parts of the body capillaries- its the smallest blood vessel it carries the de oxygenated blood from artery to veins veins- it carries the de oxygenated blood from the different parts of the body to the heart
Arteries Cary oxygenated blood. This is usually to organs or muscles with the exception of the pulmonary artery wich carries oxygenated blood from the lungs to the heart.
Aorta
artery... remember away and artery both begin with an A
An artery is the vessel that carries blood away from the heart. The pulmonary artery carries only deoxygenated blood after birth.
Pulmonary vein carries oxygenated blood to the heart from the lungs
The aorta. It is also the body's largest artery.
The Aorta. arteries
There are three: The Superior Vena Cava carries de-oxygenated blood from the upper half of the body to the heart. The Inferior Vena Cava carries de-oxygenated blood from the lower half of the body to the heart. The Coronary Artery carries oxygenated blood from the lungs to the heart.
The Pulmonary Vein carries oxygenated blood (blood carrying oxygen) to the heart from the lungs and the other superior vena cava and the inferior vena cava (both are veins also) carries de-oxygenated blood (blood not carrying oxygen) to the heart from the body.
