In order to be eponymous, the character's name has to be the name of the play. The only three Shakespeare plays to be named after the same character are the three parts of Henry VI. But Henry VI is not a hero in any of these plays--he is not even the main character in any of them. The main characters in Part 1 are Talbot and Joan la Pucelle. The main characters in Part 2 are Humphrey Duke of Gloucester, the Duke of York and Jack Cade. The main characters in Part 3 are the Duke of York and his sons, and Margaret of Anjou, the wife of Henry VI. Although Henry does get one good long speech about how he would be happier being a shepherd than a king, everybody looks on him as being useless and a drag on whatever happens to be going on.
