The thought that white clothing does keep you cool, is actually a fallacy. Yes white clothing does reflect infra-red radiation from the sun, but more influential are the following effects:
1) black clothing absorbs body emitted infrared radiation (in the same way it does from the sun), but then cooling carries this heat energy away from the body by moving air over the clothing (called convective cooling) - note this effect only works if the clothing is loose fitting thus enabling air to move over the clothing surface and resultantly carry the heat away from the body. This will not happen with white clothing as it will not absorb body heat.
2) white clothing reflects body emitted heat radiation back into the body, thus NOT cooling you down as one might think.
It actually come down to this:
- If your clothing is tight, then its better if it is white
- If your clothing is loose fitting then its better if it is back

* It depends if the red is lighter or darker than the blue. If its darker than the blue, the blue is cooler. If its lighter than the blue than the red is cooler.
* Just remember the lighter the color the cooler it is
* The darker the color the hotter it is
Any light color like white or light blue or pink or yellow also it helps if the clothes are light and beathable
Try to avoid Black Purple darker blues or colors like that
NO it does not. Light clothing reflect heat like white and light green. Dark clothing absorb heat like black and Grey
white
they dont
clothes that keep you cool :D
To keep cool on a hot night start by wearing loose and light clothing. Do not use heavy blankets and drink cold water to cool you down as well.
White clothes keep you cool because the color white doesn't absorb sun light like dark colors such as black or dark blue do. Hope this helps :)
Chefs clothing are mainly in white because white is the most reflective color. This means that it repels light and heat instead of absorbing it. This is keeps the chef as cool as possible in a hot kitchen.
its a cool accessary for clothing. Like a hand bag for a pretty skirt, and/or to keep your pants up
if you keep the dry white wine in an not damp but cool place it does not expire.
Using bleach on white clothing is the best way to keep them white. The bleach will strip dyes away from the clothing, including many dyes left by hard water. Depending on the water that you use, this may not make the whites sparkle, but it will improve the color.
White - or light colours... to reflect sunlight.
Wear white or a light colour. This is because white reflects the heat and light and black draws it in.
