Qiblah mean "Direction"

The qiblah wall, called mihrab is a wall found in most Mosques that face the same way as Kaaba in Mecca. This direction is called Qiblah. It is the proper direction to face during prayer during salah...it symbolizes the unity in purpose of Muslims worldwide. There are also no animals or pictures on these walls to prevent idol worship.
