Depends on the field of interest. Certainly the greatest lengths/distances are found in astronomy and the longest BASIC distance is the "parsec," equal to about 3.26 light-years. However, metric prefixes allow for longer DERIVED units, such as Kiloparsec (useful if you're describing the arms of the Milky Way galaxy) and Megaparsec (for distances to other galaxies). By extension, the current maximum prefix is "Yotta," so one could theoretically speak of "Yottaparsecs," though such would extend far beyond the known universe and consequently wouldn't be of much use.
Of measures on a more human scale, the longest might have been the Swedish Mile, equal to about ten statute miles or sixteen kilometers. Of course, such units were highly local in their application and indeed, one might develope an "idiosyncratic mile" of any length.
Within the Metric System, or SI, the longest measure originally adopted was (and in theory, still is) the myriadometer, or ten kilometers.
1 mile is the longest
Meters is a measurement of distance and milliliter is a measurement of volume. So there is no way to figure this out.
A kilometre is a measure of distance. A millilitre is a measure of capacity. The two units are therefore incompatible.
Yard
Displacement is measured in distance, so any measurement dealing with only distance will work. The SI units are meters.
Length is the measurement of the extent of an object along its greatest dimension. It typically refers to the longest side or distance from one point to another on an object.
1 mile is the longest
The longest measurement inside a circle is its diameter.
Assuming the numbers refer to the same unit of measurement, then whatever there are 23.54 of, there are going to be more of these than if there are only 23.23 of them.
Measurement always deals with a distance of a line or a distance between to objects, distance between 2 points, and so on.
Length is a measurement that typically refers to the longer side or dimension of an object, usually running horizontally or vertically. It is not considered diagonal, which refers to a measurement taken at an angle across the object.
The base SI unit of distance is the meter.
The longest distance you can travel from north to south in Brazil is 2,731 miles. The longest distance east to west is 2,684 miles.
Latitude is the measurement of distance north or south of the Equator. Longitude is the measurement of distance east or west of the prime meridian.
ninety-six centimeters
line measurement- distance between two lines end measurement- distance between two faces
For rectangles, the longest sides are always the 'length' measurement.
