Czechoslovakia. I never heard of that country but that was the answer I got.
In fact at their height the percentage of population that were actual members of the Communist Party never exceeded 25%

No, it collapsed. The post-Soviet states, also commonly known as the Former Soviet Union (FSU) or former Soviet republics, are the 15 independent nations that split off from the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics in its breakup in December 1991. They were also referred to as the Newly Independent States (NIS), not withstanding that the Baltic states consider themselves to have resumed their pre-World War II sovereignty upon their separation from the Soviet Union.Post-Soviet states in English alphabetical order: 1. Armenia; 2. Azerbaijan; 3. Belarus; 4. Estonia;5. Georgia; 6. Kazakhstan; 7. Kyrgyzstan; 8. Latvia;9. Lithuania; 10. Moldova; 11. Russia; 12. Tajikistan;13. Turkmenistan; 14. Ukraine; 15. Uzbekistan
The former Soviet Union expended funds on military hardware with or without Vietnam. The ONLY difference was; the Vietnam ordnance was USED (consumed); after the Vietnam War, the Soviet ordnance (that was never used) had to be destroyed...as they were in the US.

Ukraine was one of the republics which comprised the Soviet Union. It never actually "belonged to" Russia.
This may be nit-picking, but it probably would not be for natives of the several former Soviet Socialist Republics. Russia and the Soviet Union were actually never "the same". It's a little like asking 'During what years were England and Great Britain the same?' The term 'Russia' was often used as a commonly understood but not entirely accurate way of refering to the Soviet Union, in much the same way that the term 'America' is widely but inaccurately used to refer to the US. The Union of Soviet Socialist Republics existed from about 1918 until 1991. See link for more details.

Immediately after the October Revolution, or the November Revolution depending on which calender is used the Empire of Russia was renamed the Russian Soviet Federated Socialist Republic. Later, in 1922, it joined with Ukraine, Belorussia and the Transcaucasus Federation to form the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, the USSR or Soviet Union. "Russia" was never simply renamed the Soviet Union.

Russia was never broken into states. You may be asking when the Soviet Union (familiarly referred to as "Russia") broke up into 15 independent republics. The breakup started in the spring of 1990 and competed by fall of 1991.

To Be A King: Beaten by former members To Be A Queen: Have Sex With former members. But First They Have To accept you , they usually beat and have sex before they crown you is so that they toughen you up. Once A King/Queen Always A King/Queen , You can never let go of your crown.
There is no reason for them to be ... These countries were never members of the Soviet Union and traditionally they have faced westwards and not eastwards.
