Usually Wide format printers have the largest capacity of ink. In some cases they have litres of ink attached by hoses to the printheads.
For small office home office you're best off going for Canon or HP... these are the easiest cartridges to refill and generally survive a lot of refills.
The question of capacity comes in, get one of the HP printers that takes the Ink tanks like the #88 from HP or the CLI-8 from Canon. Both of these are easy to fill, have chips of them to keep track of the ink level (they are resettable) and generally are very good quality prints.

∙ 10y agoKodak and Lexmark are two companies that bucking the old trend of selling cheap printers and then gouging you on the ink. You'll pay a little more for the printer, but you'll save tremendously on the ink. Lexmark in particular has released several printers that use the 105XL black cartidge, which sells for $4.99 and will print 500 black and white pages pages. Check the box and if it use this cartridge, you are good to go.

∙ 12y agoThere are many different types of printers. Epson and Canon printers have afford cartridges and also many can be refilled. Lexmark and HP printers will make you put a new cartridge in at a specific point or the printer will shut down. Choose wisely. I would check customer reviews before making a purchase. I good place to check reviews is Amazon.
